10 Things I Do Not Want For Christmas!

The stockings were hyng by the chimney with care...

  1. The first thing that I would not want for Christmas, or any kid in the world would want for Christmas, is COAL.
  2. The second thing that I would not want for Christmas is a Barbie
  3. One other thing I would not want is a bar of soap
  4. A LittleTikes toy or anything that is meant for 8 years of age and under.
  5. I do not want something from my brother/because he does not pick good toys. If you are reading this, Wink Wink
  6. I would not want to receive Hatchimal on Christmas.
  7. This is not a toy, but I would not want the flu.
  8. I definitely do not want an invitation to go back to school early.
  9. I hope that I do not wake up to an empty stocking.
  10. And the last thing that I do not want for Christmas would be a new sibling.

Ski Post

I started to ski 3 years ago at MT Washington. I had only ever skied one other time at another mountain all the way a cross the country. Last year I learned how to ski blue and black diamonds. This ski season, I would like to learn how to ski double blacks and how to ski the out back. If you are ever close to a ski mountain in the winter, I would recommend that you get a lesson and go skiing because it the best way to spend your winter.

I have only skied the terrain park once, and it did not go well.  I ended up falling on the grind box because I was going too fast. I tried to slow down, but my legs split apart and I landed right on my back. siting on the chair lift hurt more than the fall.

This ski season the mountain is opening up earlier due to an early heavy snow fall. I am really excited to go skiing. Last year I missed quite a bit of skiing because we had to go thru rentals every ski day, but this year I got my own gear so I am ready to hit the slopes.

Ellen DeGeneres

Why did I chose Ellen DeGeneres out of all of the people in the word? Because she demonstrates all of the traits, and she seems like a nice person. Ellen is 59 and started her talk show in 2003. In her show, Ellen inspires people to never give up, and some times brings kids favorite celebrities on to surprise them. I started watching Ellen two years ago and she is really inspirational. If you did not know, she voices dory in Finding Dory and in Finding Nemo.

I think that Ellen shows compassion the most. She is kind to everyone she meets,  She is also very giving. In one of her shows she had a wheel that you could spin to win 1 billion dollars. Yet no one won. One of her quotes Is. “Sometimes you can’t see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others.”

The other trait I think she demonstrates is risk taking. Ellen takes risks every day. One, she goes and talks in front of her 21 million audience just on YouTube. Two, she stood up against the law not allowing woman to marry each other. Here is a link to the video  of her receiving a medal from Barak Obama.

One of Ellen’s most shown traits is industriousness. Every day she is hard working and thinking how can I do better. She never gives up and always perseveres. For example, she has to plan who is coming to the show, and a lot of the lines.

Overall, Ellen is a great person, funny and talented. If I got to meet her in person it would be truly amazing. I will continue to watch her show till when ever she retires.

Dog in the Snow

Laika Ready to Attack | Vermont, USA Y Nakanishi via Compfight

In this picture a dog is going for a run in the new, white-powder snow. Trying to find his toy, she comes across a bunny. Chasing it along the field, snow is building up on her paws. She basically had a new pair of shoes,  so fancy.

The same thing happens every year with my dog. Then my dog goes outside and comes in with a pair of ice shoes. Then we rush her up stairs into a warm bath to melt the ice off.

Fun fact: snow is coming down as I type this.
