Last Friday I went to our towns vr place with my hockey team. And trust me, the had hundreds of gamer. Some we could not play. Because it was too gory. But anyways lets get into my favorite game. Pubg was my favorite. No one was in my section so I got to play it for 45 minutes. But it was hard. I think the most kills I got in one game was 1. but it was also funny because the people i was playing with I could hear because they were in the next room. After that we got pizza and pop, then went back to games. The next game played was Superhot. I really enjoyed the fact that you could freeze time and doge bullets. Also if you ran out of ammunition you would just have to use items from your  surrounding ant throw them at the red man running at you. after that I had more pizza, played 1 more game then went home.

Thank you for following my blog this year.

hopefully I get the chance to blog next year but if not…

Death In Space

Death By Slime

Obsessively the scientist created a substance that she made before, It was called SLIME. Soon everyone wanted to own this… thing. Soon NASA  heard about this fine substance and wanted to see how it would act in space. The year is 1999, the testing of what slime would do in space. The sounds of the final countdown started 5,4,3,2,1 lift off! Explosively the rocket lifted off into space launching the pod of gooey slime. After of a long period of time, the  planet landed on our 4th planet, Mars. With a sigh of air, the door to the ship opened releasing the slime. Little did they know half a click there was an experiment making slime turn evil. As the slime floated quickly towards the lab people inside had no clue that the slime would mix with the chemical the eventually killing all of them, but let’s stay in the present. Finally, the slime reached the laboratory engulfing the lab and all the chemicals with it. Now there was a BIG monster killing human by human until there is no one left.

Where I Live

Do you like warm summers at the beach? If you do, then come to Comox.

Hi, my name is Quinn and I live in the Comox Valley. I have lived here for 4 years. (What a tongue twister)  Anyways, my favorite thing to do in all of the valley is to go skiing. Our ski hill is called Mount Washington. I have skied there for 3 years now and it is awesome. They have 5 chairs and the Boomerang (one of the chairs) is my favorite. It leads the backcountry and to black diamonds skiing.

In the winter, my favorite thing is when it is raining really hard down here, it is snowing a lot on Mount Washington. (like right now while I’m writing this.) I love skiing in fresh powder. The mountain is located 30 minutes/ 30 kilometers away, so we’re lucky.

My Favorite Restaurants

The Early bird café

Every once in a while, our family will go and eat there and I always get an omelet with fried potatoes. The part I like most about the fried potatoes is they cook them in onions, Mmm so good. They also serve different things including bread, soups, coffee and much more. All over the restaurant are pictures of birds, most of which are puzzles of birds.

This is a picture of the omelet meal

Benino Gelato

I swear this place has the best ice cream in the world. They make classic Italian ice cream and sell it in their store. They also serve coffee and paninis, but the ice cream is the best. You can find Benino Gelato on Comox Ave.

The thing I like the most about Comox is the forest. We have a lot of them. We even go and play in one for PE. These forests also have a lot of biking areas and jumps. The name of the forest I bike in is called the North East Woods. There are kilometers of biking trails and walking trails. Thank you, Town of Comox for taking good care of our forest. The bike that I use is called Norco Storm and it handles really well. From jumps to the bumpy terrain it can do it all. Also in BC we have big trees. The biggest is on the island. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this post.

The trees are not photoshopped.

I will post you next time, Sincerely Quinn

10 Things I Do Not Want For Christmas!

The stockings were hyng by the chimney with care...

  1. The first thing that I would not want for Christmas, or any kid in the world would want for Christmas, is COAL.
  2. The second thing that I would not want for Christmas is a Barbie
  3. One other thing I would not want is a bar of soap
  4. A LittleTikes toy or anything that is meant for 8 years of age and under.
  5. I do not want something from my brother/because he does not pick good toys. If you are reading this, Wink Wink
  6. I would not want to receive Hatchimal on Christmas.
  7. This is not a toy, but I would not want the flu.
  8. I definitely do not want an invitation to go back to school early.
  9. I hope that I do not wake up to an empty stocking.
  10. And the last thing that I do not want for Christmas would be a new sibling.

Ellen DeGeneres

Why did I chose Ellen DeGeneres out of all of the people in the word? Because she demonstrates all of the traits, and she seems like a nice person. Ellen is 59 and started her talk show in 2003. In her show, Ellen inspires people to never give up, and some times brings kids favorite celebrities on to surprise them. I started watching Ellen two years ago and she is really inspirational. If you did not know, she voices dory in Finding Dory and in Finding Nemo.

I think that Ellen shows compassion the most. She is kind to everyone she meets,  She is also very giving. In one of her shows she had a wheel that you could spin to win 1 billion dollars. Yet no one won. One of her quotes Is. “Sometimes you can’t see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others.”

The other trait I think she demonstrates is risk taking. Ellen takes risks every day. One, she goes and talks in front of her 21 million audience just on YouTube. Two, she stood up against the law not allowing woman to marry each other. Here is a link to the video  of her receiving a medal from Barak Obama.

One of Ellen’s most shown traits is industriousness. Every day she is hard working and thinking how can I do better. She never gives up and always perseveres. For example, she has to plan who is coming to the show, and a lot of the lines.

Overall, Ellen is a great person, funny and talented. If I got to meet her in person it would be truly amazing. I will continue to watch her show till when ever she retires.

Dog in the Snow

Laika Ready to Attack | Vermont, USA Y Nakanishi via Compfight

In this picture a dog is going for a run in the new, white-powder snow. Trying to find his toy, she comes across a bunny. Chasing it along the field, snow is building up on her paws. She basically had a new pair of shoes,  so fancy.

The same thing happens every year with my dog. Then my dog goes outside and comes in with a pair of ice shoes. Then we rush her up stairs into a warm bath to melt the ice off.

Fun fact: snow is coming down as I type this.
